CDX Customer Training Registration

One of the benefits of becoming an Xceligent member is the training we provide to insure that your transition to the CDX is fast and effective. Training will be conducted by our staff of training professionals. Because the CDX is a competitive trade tool, the more quickly you can learn and navigate through the system the better off you will be. Please take advantage of these training sessions, you will find them to be very beneficial in the long run. Select the class time that best fits into your schedule from the menu below.

Xceligent University - Class Descriptions

CDX 101- An Introduction to the CDX
This class is designed for all new subscribers as well as any existing subscriber looking for a broad overview of the functionalities of the CDX. Some of the topics discussed include a walk through of the home page:

  • Searching for listing
  • Tenant and comparable information
  • Printing and emailing reports
  • Adding and editing listings
  • Setting your personal preferences
  • Utilizing the broadcast email tool
  • Class time 90 minutes

Gaining Market Intelligence
This class is designed for the subscriber wishing to gain in depth analytical information to make informed decisions and assist with identifying trends in the marketplace. This class will discuss how to:

  • Use the New/Changed Listing feature to gain broad market intelligence
  • Create Saved Search Criteria and Saved Search Results
  • Determine trends by using the Change Log feature
  • Utilize the CDXs built in analytical capabilities such as the Analytics tab and Reports
  • Collect additional market information via Tenant ProspeX, SiteTrax and My Comps.
  • Class time 90 minutes

Marketing Your Listing (Landlord Rep)
This class is designed for landlord reps that seek to get the maximum exposure for their listings. This class will discuss:

  • The process to add or edit a listing
  • Creating a brochure and exclusive inventory report
  • Utilizing the Hits Tracker, send a broadcast email
  • Use of high resolution aerial images in marketing materials
  • Searching for prospective tenants to lease your space
  • How to perform a competitive analysis to make sure your listing is priced accordingly

Investments
This class is specifically designed for investment brokers or any subscriber interested in getting into the investment arena. Topics discussed will include:

  • Searching for listings in cities outside your metro area
  • Customizing your search results to highlight cap rates NOI and other financial information quickly
  • Searching researched and proprietary sales comparables
  • Prospecting using CDX Mail
  • Identifying sale/leaseback opportunities with Tenant ProspeX
  • Creating investment packages using the CDX

Tenant Representation
Our Tenant Representation class is focused on how to prospect and service your existing clients. Topics discussed include:

  • Searching, printing and emailing reports
  • Creating auto email notifications of new opportunities for your tenant
  • Utilizing broadcast email to identify unique opportunities
  • Prospecting for new tenants using Tenant ProspeX
  • Class time 30 minutes

Researched Sales Comparables
This class will take an in depth look at Xceligent’s SiteTrax product. Attendees will learn:

  • How to create searches
  • View in depth information on specific transactions
  • Create comparable reports to print or email to clients
  • Also how to export information for further market analysis in Excel
  • Class time 30 minutes

Prospecting for Tenants
This class will discuss how to not only find tenants to represent, but to also identify tenants to move into buildings you are representing. This class will cover how to create call reports and mailing labels as well as how to export the tenant information into Excel or a contact management program such as ACT! or Outlook for prospecting purposes.

CDX Mail
This class is designed for customers that want to learn more about marketing their listing or requirement through our broadcast email service. This class will discuss how to:

  • Create a customized CDX Mail message based on an existing listing in the CDX
  • Notify the market of a client requirement
  • Set your preferences on the types of messages you want to receive
  • Search the archive of sent CDX Mails
  • Create a customized signature and CDX Mail header and footer
  • Class time 30 minutes

My Comps and SiteTraX
This class is designed for customers that want to leverage the information created on the My Comps tab or search our researched sale transactions (available in certain markets). This class will cover:

  • How My Comp records are created
  • How to create proprietary versions of a My Comp record with additional information
  • How to search and generate reports from My Comps
  • How to add a new My Comp record
  • How to search SiteTraX, our researched county sale records
  • How to search and generate reports from SiteTraX
  • How to find buyer and seller information on SiteTraX records

Adding, Updating and Reviewing Your Listings
This class is designed for anyone who has listings, regardless of whether an Xceligent Researcher, an administrative assistant or you personally maintain them. Topics include:

  • Viewing the Hits Tracker to see who has been looking at your listing
  • Printing/emailing exclusive inventory reports
  • Making changes to existing listings
  • Adding a new listing

Searching, Saving and Reporting
This class covers the ins and outs of running searches and creating reports. This class will discuss:
